Garlic Karam Podi Recipe
Ingredients:
- 10 garlic cloves
- 10 dried red chilies
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 10 curry leaves
Instructions:
- Dry roast all the ingredients in a pan over medium heat until fragrant.
- Let the ingredients cool down completely.
- Grind the roasted ingredients into a coarse powder in a blender.
- Store the powder in an airtight container.
To use:
Sprinkle the garlic karam podi on hot rice, idlis, dosas, or roti. You can also add it to curries and stews for a boost of flavor.
